Hello, I'm Varun Bhardwaj π
I am a software engineer with over two years of experience, specializing in building scalable and efficient software solutions. My background includes working at Oracle and startups like Dunzo, where I've gained hands-on experience in various technologies and product domains.
I'm proficient in languages such as Java, Go, Python, and C++, as well as technologies like SQL/NoSQL databases, OCI, Docker, and Kubernetes. I'm passionate about tackling new challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs.

I currently work at Oracle, where I engineer and deploy scalable, high-performance services in Java, Golang, and Python. These services automate key processes such as metric transfer via an ETL engine, RBAC management for observability tools, and the bulk creation of alerts and change requests benefitting over 200 services and brining down TAT by 95%. I also have hands-on experience with DevOps stacks, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Monitoring & Observability.

At Dunzo I was a part of the team behind the βOffer Nudge (Snackbar)β initiative, prompting users to add more for incremental discounts which boosted AOV by Rs.15 based on preliminary evaluations.

An event scheduling mobile application developed using Java which keeps track of all the events happening in the college and gives timely reminders, has 500+ active users and is actively being used by all the societies of the college for event scheduling and management.
